Where AI stands

A human reads every word. What AI does touch, what it never touches, and what Karel asks in return.

A human reads every word. This page says exactly what that means, because in 2026 the claim is worth nothing without the detail.

The guarantee

Every word of your script is read by Karel and assessed on its own merits. No model writes your notes, and no model decides what is wrong with your story. The judgement in the report is a person’s judgement, formed while reading, and it is the thing you are paying for.

Where AI is used

In the margins of the work, and nowhere else: transcribing a call so the notes from it are accurate, and tidying Karel’s own handwritten notes into typed prose. It never touches the judgement, and it never sees anything you have not already sent to Karel.

What is never done with your work

  • Your script is never used to train a model, by us or by anyone else.
  • Your script is never shared with a third party for any purpose.
  • Files travel encrypted, are read by Karel only, and are deleted when the engagement ends.

The free logline tool on this site does call a language model, and it says so where it sits. It is a drafting aid, it is not the service, and what you type into it is not stored.

What Karel asks in return

That the work you send is yours. Keep AI-generated material out of the draft — for the integrity of the notes, which cannot diagnose a story nobody decided, and for your own protection further down the line, where the question of who wrote it stops being academic.
